USES:
PENETRATION GRADE BITUMEN
EN Standard – Bitumen 20/30
The penetration grade bitumen 20/30 is hard grade bitumen that is typically used in road construction and the production of asphalt pavements. The penetration range of this grade is between 20 to 30 tenths of a millimetre. Penetration grade bitumen 20/30, high quality and viscosity material is ideal for warmer climates and hot regions for road construction. Due to its high resistance to deformation and resistance to aging ensures structural integrity and durability.

USES:
The penetration grade bitumen 20/ 30 is known as paving grade bitumen as it is ideally used in paving surfaces and pavements.
- Ideal for road construction and asphalt pavement in hot regions and heavy-traffic areas.
- Finds its usage in making hot mix asphalt for wearing courses and bases for road maintenance.
- Penetration grade bitumen 20/30 is identical for making airport runways and heavy-duty pavements due to its strong adhesive properties and high resistance to deformation.
Quality Standard:
Penetration Grade Bitumen 20/30 conforms to the European Standard EN 12591, which sets stringent requirements to ensure quality and performance.
STORAGE:
Maintain storage temperatures between 150°C and 180°C to prevent hardening and ensure the bitumen remains workable.
Use steel containers or bitumen tanks that are designed to handle high temperatures and prevent contamination.
Ensure storage facilities are well-ventilated, dry, and protected from moisture to prevent oxidation and degradation.
Avoid prolonged storage at high temperatures and frequent temperature fluctuations, which can lead to the hardening and loss of essential properties.
PACKAGING:

Bitubox
Ideal for convenient bitumen transportation, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly packaging solution.
