Performance Grades
PG82 – PG-82-10
Petra Oil’s PG 82-10 is a premium-grade, polymer-modified asphalt binder engineered for use in extremely hot climates with moderate winter conditions. Designed in full compliance with Superpave performance grading standards, PG 82-10 offers outstanding high-temperature resistance (up to 82°C) along with reliable flexibility at low temperatures down to -10°C. It is specifically formulated for high-speed, high-load traffic conditions in regions where pavement temperatures soar.
PG 82-10 is purpose-built for demanding environments such as desert highways, high-capacity expressways, and industrial transport corridors where extreme surface temperatures and continuous traffic stress require an exceptionally stable and durable binder. With excellent rutting resistance, fatigue durability, and thermal resilience, this binder significantly extends pavement service life while minimizing maintenance cycles.
Fully compliant with AASHTO M320, PG 82-10 is produced under strict quality assurance standards to ensure consistent, high-performance output for every batch.
Key Specifications of PG 82-10:
• Performance Grade: PG 82-10
• High-Temperature Grade: 82°C
• Low-Temperature Grade: -10°C
• Standard Compliance: AASHTO M320
• Type: Superpave Performance Grade Asphalt Binder
Main Applications of PG 82-10:
•Desert and Tropical Region Highways: Built for roadways exposed to extreme surface heat.
• High-Speed Expressways and Toll Roads: Ideal for sustained high-load, high-speed traffic in hot climates.
• Airport Runways and Industrial Access Roads: Designed to withstand high-temperature exposure and repetitive heavy loading.
Key Benefits of PG 82-10:
•Exceptional Rutting Resistance: Maintains structural shape under extreme thermal and mechanical stress.
• High Load-Bearing Capacity: Performs reliably under continuous traffic and heavy axle loads.
• Enhanced Thermal Stability: Reduces deformation risks during intense summer conditions.
• Long-Term Performance: Engineered to extend pavement life with reduced need for maintenance and resurfacing.
