Petra Oil’s AH-130 is an ultra-soft penetration grade bitumen tailored for extreme cold-weather applications where maximum flexibility and thermal resilience are essential. With a penetration value of approximately 130 dmm at 25°C, AH-130 stands out as one of the softest and most pliable asphalt binders, ideal for resisting cracking in regions with harsh winters and repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
This grade provides unmatched low-temperature flexibility, allowing asphalt layers to expand and contract without fracture. AH-130 is particularly effective in preserving pavement integrity in light-duty applications or where traffic volumes are minimal but environmental stress is high. It ensures reliable performance in overlays, patch repairs, and new construction in northern latitudes and mountainous terrain.
Produced to meet ASTM D946 and AASHTO M20 specifications, AH-130 provides consistent performance, ease of application, and excellent adhesion to aggregates, promoting long-lasting pavement layers even in the most challenging climates.
