Performance Grades

PG82 – PG-82-34

Petra Oil’s PG 82-34 is the most advanced binder in the PG 82 series—formulated for use in environments with extreme heat and the harshest winter temperatures. Designed according to Superpave performance grading standards, PG 82-34 offers superior rutting resistance at 82°C and industry-leading flexibility at -34°C. It is ideal for infrastructure where subzero performance and high-load resistance are both mission-critical.

PG 82-34 is engineered for cold-climate industrial roads, polar highways, and alpine routes that demand long-term structural stability in the face of frequent freeze-thaw cycles. Its polymer-rich formulation helps mitigate thermal cracking, rutting, and fatigue in some of the world’s most unforgiving environments.

Compliant with AASHTO M320, PG 82-34 is manufactured with precision and quality control to support reliable, high-performance pavement outcomes.

Key Specifications of PG 82-34:

• Performance Grade: PG 82-34
• High-Temperature Grade: 82°C
• Low-Temperature Grade: -34°C
• Standard Compliance: AASHTO M320
• Type: Superpave Performance Grade Asphalt Binder

Main Applications of PG 82-34:

• Subarctic and Alpine Highways: Built for freeze-dominant climates with intense summer heat.
• Cold-Region Industrial Corridors: Handles repeated heavy loads and extreme thermal cycling.
• Remote Strategic Infrastructure: Designed for limited-access routes requiring ultra-durable pavements.

Key Benefits of PG 82-34:

• Maximum Crack Resistance: Delivers unmatched flexibility in extreme subzero temperatures.
• Heavy-Duty Rutting Resistance: Maintains structural form under thermal and mechanical strain.
• Long-Term Resilience: Ideal for infrastructure with limited maintenance access.
• High Reliability: Formulated for performance in the most severe climate zones.
