Petra Oil’s AH-70 is a premium penetration grade bitumen engineered for superior performance in high-temperature regions and heavily trafficked areas. With a penetration value of around 70 dmm, AH-70 is slightly softer than AH-50, offering enhanced flexibility and resilience, particularly valuable for environments subject to both thermal variation and mechanical stress.
AH-70 provides excellent cohesion and viscoelastic behavior, ensuring that pavements can endure both thermal expansion and heavy axle loads. This makes it an ideal choice for road construction projects in hot, arid climates and for areas with frequent braking and accelerating traffic such as city arterials and industrial zones.
Manufactured under strict quality standards including ASTM D946 and AASHTO M20, AH-70 offers consistent performance in mixing, compaction, and long-term pavement durability. AH50 Bitumen is high quality asphalt, derived from crude petroleum refining. AH70 Bitumen is dark in color and possesses waterproofing and adhesive properties. It is substantially non-volatile and softens gradually when heated.
