PENETRATION GRADE BITUMEN
EN Standard – Bitumen 100/150
Penetration Grade Bitumen 100/150 is a very soft grade that has penetration volume ranging from 100 to 150 tenths of a millimetre. Bitumen 100/50 is widely used in colder regions as the bitumen binding property works effectively in colder areas and maintains structure quality and integrity. It provides superior resistance exceptional waterproofing leads and durable road and asphalt pavements. Its low viscosity and penetration properties enable structures to withstand adverse weather conditions like heavy rains and floods and prevent cracks and rutting of roads.
USES:
Bitumen 100/150 is extensively used in the construction of infrastructure where high performance and durability are critical. Key applications include:
- Bitumen penetration grade 100/150 is ultimately used in road construction in colder regions because of its efficient waterproofing and thermoelastic properties that provide stability and maintain the credibility of structures.
- It helps in creating durable road and asphalt pavements that can endure adverse weather conditions, such as heavy rains and floods, and prevent road cracks and rutting.
- Providing superior resistance and exceptional waterproofing, making it suitable for maintaining structure quality and integrity in colder regions.
QUALITY STANDARD:
Penetration Grade Bitumen 100/150 conforms to the European Standard EN 12591, which sets stringent requirements to ensure quality and performance.
